Omonia is not just a place, a point that unites different cultures, a place where the past, present and future of Athens coexist in a fragile balance. The light falls on the buildings and people like memories: sometimes revealing, sometimes harsh.
This photographic project records silent moments of everyday life, human figures standing, waiting or simply observing. Through the urban landscape of Omonia, i seek to highlight the contrasts of the city, the rapture of different cultures and the loneliness that lurks even in the busiest part of Athens.

Η Ομόνοια δεν είναι απλώς ένας τόπος, είναι ένα σημείο που ενώνει διαφορετικούς πολιτισμούς. Ένα σημείο όπου το παρελθόν, το παρόν και το μέλλον της Αθήνας συνυπάρχουν σε μια εύθραυστη ισορροπία. Το φως πέφτει πάνω στα κτίρια και στους ανθρώπους όπως οι αναμνήσεις: άλλοτε αποκαλυπτικά, άλλοτε σκληρά.
Το φωτογραφικό αυτό project καταγράφει σιωπηλές στιγμές καθημερινότητας, ανθρώπινες φιγούρες που στέκονται, περιμένουν ή απλώς παρατηρούν.
Μέσα από το αστικό τοπίο της Ομόνοιας, αναζητώ να αναδείξω τις αντιθέσεις τις πόλης, την συνύρπαξη διαφορετικών πολιτισμών και τη μοναξιά που κρύβεται ακόμη και στο πιο πολυσύχναστο σημείο της Αθήνας.
I photograph Omonia as i experience it: quiet in its noise, lonely despite its density. A place where different people coexist.This project is a personal attempt to understand the city and my relationship with it. Omonia, as I record it, does not ask to be explained. It simply exists like the people who cross it every day, leaving behind traces that fade quickly, but not silently.
